The MADD Halifax Regional Chapter has been fighting against impaired driving and supporting victims since 1995. Through fundraising and public awareness campaigns, we believe we are making a difference for Nova Scotians. But we can't do it alone.
Each year, our volunteers organize a Strides for Change walk. The non-competitive 5km walk throughout downtown Halifax, designed for families, friends, and coworkers, will bring together those who know impaired driving in 100% preventable.
We are looking for you to be a part of this important event. We need people to join us in collecting pledges and participating in the Strides for Change walk, to represent our chapter in a visible and memorable way. As a chapter made of volunteers who work on their own time, we need your help.
Proceeds raised from this event will go toward educating youth about dangers of impaired driving, and supporting victims whose lives have already been touched by it. Our efforts mean a lot to both of these groups, but without funds we can't support them.
Please download the following PDF file it is our Pledge Sheet and see how you can get involved in Strides for Change.
